Jamie Bérubé Art

Jamie Bérubé Art –

These pages offer a reasonably comprehensive sampling of how Jamie amuses himself and expresses himself– sometimes during his travels, but mostly in his basement, with an endless supply of paper (he swipes it from my study) and a dizzying array of pens. I usually find about two dozen pens when I tidy up (he swipes them from the kitchen), and he is very particular about which pens he uses for which purpose.

His choice of crayons is simple: broken. He has a few hundred intact Crayolas in a shoebox, but he prefers to work with crayon fragments (stored in another shoebox). As you’ll see in almost every gallery here, he has a great eye for color. And as you’ll see in the galleries of “lists” and “swirls & letters,” he definitely has his own way of ordering the world– like any true artist.
